| Hooray for release date breaks in Australia! I got my copy of Super Mario 3D Land yesterday 2 days ahead of the release day. I've also now heard that Skyward Sword has been broken today 1 day before release day but I should be getting it for Christmas so it's not a big issue for me. | |

| Picked up Sonic Generations for the 3DS yesterday. Pretty awesome. I think it's going to be the sleeper hit of the holidays. Nice to see Sonic on the handheld in 3D. You also get to customize a gamer card that is sent to others via StreetPass. | |

| Finally got Mario Kart 7. Boy this game is good. Having the retro courses is always nice. It really helps you get acquainted in the new Mario Kart games with familiar tracks. I started a Ninfest Community if anybody wants to join. The code is in the game friend code thread. | |

| As well as getting Mario Kart 7 2 days ago, I recently downloaded Zen Pinball 3D from the eShop. It's quite a good pinball game. I'd play it a bit more if I wasn't too addicted to Mario Kart | |

| I wish they would hurry up and release Zen Pinball 3D over here. It was reviewed in Nintendo Power 4 months ago. Talk about bad timing. | |

| Picked up Rayman Origins yesterday. Only $20 at Toys R Us. Game is too good to pass up at that price. I also picked up this 3DS headset with a detachable mic. | |

| A lofty $30 purchased at Toys R Us. But it has great outside noise cancellation and the button on the wire is multi-functional, allowing you to pause music, skip to the next track, or go to the previous track. I suppose it is only useful if you use the 3DS Sound app as your main digital music solution. It might go down in price eventually but since it came out 5 months ago it has stayed at $30. Hopefully the mic will become useful in more than just DS games. | |

| $30 to look like a 3d sexy beast is worth it but not when RE, Kid Icarus, and Rayman Origins 3d are coming! | |

| I wasn't that excited about Kid Icarus before. It looked solid enough, but the review in NP makes it sound absolutely indispensible! I knew it was being made by Sakurai, but... DAAAAANG! That guy really doesn't do anything halfway, does he? | |

| How are you liking Sonic Generations Matthew999? I find it to be the sleeper hit of the 2011 holidays.
Now that you have a Flame Red 3DS did you sell off your old one or do you have 2 now?

| Yes Sonic Generations is a very enjoyable game with lots of little extras like missions. I didn't even know it had online until I started going through the menus lol. (Actually I don't know that most of the games I buy now have online) I do plan to sell my old 3DS but nobody seems to want to buy it so for now I have 2. | |

| I haven't tried out the online with Sonic Generations yet either. 100 bonus missions = lots of extra content to go through. | |

| I've tried it. It's pretty good too. When you get matched up with someone you can add their profile card to your collection for some extra stalking. The you can pick any stage you've unlocked to race your opponent to the finish on. You're awarded points or points get taken off you. | |

| I love it! I wasn't expecting much when I got it but was pleasantly surprised by it. I thought it was pretty similar to Monopoly with a bit of Mario Party thrown in to start with but it turns out that was just the easy rules. Standard rules introduce the stock market and the board is divided into lots of districts you can invest in. There's boards and characters from both the Dragon Quest and Mario universe plus your Mii so it's pretty much impossible to not find a character you like. Unfortunately you will have to deal with single player to unlock anything in the game as multiplayer records aren't saved. Which means frustrating battles with cheating computers. You can let the computer take over for you though and see how that goes. Online play is good, no lag since it's a turn based game. Haven't played much of it though so I don't know how many disconnect when they're losing. You can easily play this game for hours and not realise it! There's no turn limit unlike Mario Party so it only ends when you either bankrupt the other players or your net worth reaches a set amount. I played a 200 turn game with a friend which took all night to play. I won | |

| I know Nintendo Furniture got this, but last week I picked up Resident Evil: Revelations. Got one of the copies with the typo on the spine. I'll be requesting the corrected boxart soon but will keep the typo sheet underneath. Who knows? Maybe 10 years from now it will be worth a nice chunk of change, or at least keep its current value. Depends how many copies sell. As far as I know the only copies with the typo are North America's first shipment. I wonder how many that is...
What sucks is that GameStop had the Circle Pad Pro exclusive and were already sold out. They told me they aren't expecting anymore until April! Oh well. I threw down my $20 and now I wait...

and I said you could probably get it at Nintendo, much like Xenoblade or whatever it is.
