3DS Impressions

No but after perusing some forums I have discovered that once you get 150 they stop sending you Pokemon. Which sucks, because there are more than 150 counting all the season pokemon, etc. I has rage again, Nintendo.

Ok, so the pokemanz are like repeatedly street passing the same person- no more than once every 8 hours? And why do I only get Pokemon Black ones? Does anyone get Pokemon white ones?

No, no StreetPassing involved in the Pokemon app. You can share them wirelessly through a tool in the Pokedex, but you don't get them by StreetPassing people. Only SpotPassing from Nintendo themselves, and its once every 24 hours.

I know no streetpassing. I was comparing it to Mii Plaza street passing. I get passes from my wife every 8 hours- so 3 a day. It sounded like you and Streex were saying you get 3 pokemon a day, so I wondered if it was every 8 hours, too- assuming you check that often. I barely get 1 a day, if that. I just got "Gurdur" or whatever the guy is who carries a steel I-beam.

Everyone gets 3 a day, all you have to do is open the program, say yes to the new data, d/l it, press home button, which takes yo to menu screen, press it again which takes you back to the Pokedex, and voila! You will get a message top right corner with new data. Works 3 times total including the initial one.

I accidentally stumbled upon it when I forgot to check it one day. After getting one the next day, I jumped back in just to check if I had another for missing a day and there was another one. Then I got greedy and thought what if...Jumped out and back in and a third one was mine! Tried a fourth time with no luck. That's how I came across it.

But it's nice to know that you can StreetPass the same person every 8 hours. I always wondered what the time frame on that was.
