PSVita...$249

It sucks that this thing is selling for shit. Today is the one year anniversary and while I can say I don't miss my 3ds and I play the shit out if still, I'm sad it's failing so miserably. Reading through this thread makes me realize I was right about my prediction of support issues . I hope it gets more exposure at e3 and if nothing else I can stream all my ps4 games to it just like I do with my wiiu lol. It's still a better system than the 3ds IMO. #realtalk

Anyways, in ways I'm glad its not doing well- maybe at E3 they will debut something that makes me want to own the damn thing. Have they done a price cut yet?

Honestly, I would rather buy an N64DD right now than this thing. I just don't see the games, Triz. I don't like 1st Party Sony usually, its 3rd party exclusives like Tales of Graces F and Kingdom Hearts that make me go Playstation.

PSP offered me absolutely nothing... yet I still have all 3 versions. Yet to get the PSPgo tho... Just can't dive into Vita with that price point. Sony doesn't have my confidence like Nintendo does.

I hear ya on the price point. It needs a drop if its going to get a boost in sales. Japan got a price drop last week I assume one is coming here around e3. It has plenty of games if you take into count everything you can by on psn for it. The vita is basically my portable pinball machine. Every table for zen pinball two and every table for pinball arcade.

I do want one, no doubt. I mean, I support Sony because they are jrpg kings. And, as you might assume, I am still stuck in the physical media age. So PSN, unless its a truly great exclusive, I usually pass.

Question: If I own say, Simpsons arcade on PS3, can I own that on my Vita without having to re-buy it?

Well you could stream it to the vita I think via remote play. There are quite a bit of "cross buy" games that you buy one copy and its good for ps3 or vita. The pinball games I play are like that and plenty of retail titles too. I know Sly Cooper that just came out was cross buy and so was Playstioon all stars.

I read it wasn't going to get a price drop in US due to international exchange rates but c'mon Sony! How else are you going to get people to buy? The games aren't there so you need something to entice consumers.

I like the cross buy system. That would be perfect for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate instead of making us buy two copies of the game. It seems like it would be necessary since MH3U isn't going to support off TV play. If we could just transfer data to 3DS that would be swell.

I wonder if they're going to have a PS4 bundle that comes with Vita to help sales. That might be the $600 bundle for those that are willing to pay.

I'd be down for that bundle.
