| The last installment of the Bit Trip series has arrived here today (and for you on Monday) and puts the series to rest with a bang. The gameplay is very similar to the series' opener Bit Trip BEAT with the player bouncing back a barrage of beats with a paddle controlled by twisting your Wii Remote but it goes deeper than that to provide an even better gaming experience. This time around there's a new type of beat: the Avoid Beats which speak for themselves really. If your paddle gets hit by one it will damage it considerably and the hardest part is that they don't look all too different from regular beats. There are 3 worlds to beat but don't worry if you get a game over as you will reset to your last checkpoint. After 8 checkpoints there's a boss fight. FLUX has even more impressive visuals than BEAT and still has the great soundtracks that made the series so great.
All in all it sounds like the best Bit Trip yet and I'm hoping to download it very soon. I have played the demo for BEAT but when I had points to buy one I got FATE instead. But now I have another points card I think I might just buy FLUX with it.

| I'm still waiting on a demo for Runner. I just got a 500 point bonus today by getting my neighbours Wii connected online at my house thanks to the Connection Ambassador promotion over here so with my points card I'll now have 1500 points. That's only the second person I've connected though and to get free NES, SNES and N64 games I need at least 10 people so I doubt it's gonna happen. At least every person I connect gets me 500 points. | |

| Hm... well if wait for a demo you must, you shall!!! lol
My grading of the series (sans Flux):
Runner > Beat > Fate > Void > Core
Core sucked to me, and Fate was a little too busy for me, shmups are cool but having to stay on a path kinda irritated me. Still fun.

| The ambassador program...I've heard of it but I don't know if we have that in North America. So they are finally wrapping up the series. I wonder what's next for Gaijin Games. | |

| No you guys don't have the Ambassador program. Gaijin Games are apparently interested in making games for 3DS so maybe we will see Bit Trip in 3D! Imagine that. | |

| Who knows, maybe they will start publishing more and developing less... They published that Lilt Line game (kinda sucked, the actual game was fun but seriously took about 30 minutes to beat it all WITH the highest score possible!).
I am hoping they stray from Bit Trip a while, they are great games but 6 in 2 years is a bit much.

| But that's why they're WiiWare games: they are reasonably cheap and the 6 of them combined probably make up the price of one full Wii game. | |

| Agree to disagree; just because they're cheap doesn't mean they can kill a series appeal so fast. For instance: Guitar Hero. Luckily in this rare instance they retained the quality which is commendable. | |

| Lilt Line was kinda lame. But I hear there is something new on the horizon for CommanderVideo. Is it a 3DS offering? | |
