Ocarina of Time 3D Hype Thread

A big overworld doesn't have to be explored. I don't mind travelling between places. It makes a world more immersive. I just don't like spending as much time playing an ocarina, climbing on my horse, and riding to someplace that's within freaking visual range when I could have run there just as fast. Why do I have a horse, again?

I also hope they at least fix the fact that you couldn't jump over most fences. What? It's on a slight incline? Oh, you poor horse. I'm coming at it at an 85 degree angle? RRRRRRRRTTT!!! Thanks, now let's spend 5 minutes getting this horse moving again...

I totally agree with the fence jumping thing. I was constantly worried that I hadn't allowed for a long enough run-up as well as going full speed and being directly in front of a fence to actually jump it. I have to say I liked having ocarina songs to get to places more than horse riding. I loved each song in the game. I wish they had one to get to Gerudo Valley though. Warping to the Desert Colossus was only helpful for going to the Spirit Temple since you can't cross back over the Haunted Wasteland very easily. Otherwise you had to warp to Lake Hylia or the Temple of Time and ride Epona there.

Australia finally got a date yesterday: June 30th. That's a 2 week delay. A little disappointing. I just hope I can get something awesome with it. Or a Zelda 3DS

Not really jealous, actually, as it looks of ass IMO. Doesn't even look like the one from the game... Besides, Im sure us US pre-orderers will get something equally as nifty.

Ocarinas can be really expensive.

Anyway, think Skyward Sword could have a golden Wii Motion Plus? Or better yet, one painted like the Master Sword?

I think Skyward would have a Golden Wii Remote Plus, Nintendo wouldn't promote old technology. But it would be pretty awesome. After all there is a golden Classic Controller Pro.

Incidentally, I just picked up not one, but two copies of the awful game Fling-Smash at Target. Why? 'Cause they cost $20 each- half the price of a Wiimote Plus by itself...

You think its awful? I think its ok... nothing special and certainly nothing to write home about in terms for WiiMotion Plus. But I bought the game for the same reason you did! lol

Ha! I was thinking the exact same thing about the colors! Anyway, I was referring to reviews of the game. I've only played it once, and it's not the worst thing, but it is pretty mediocre.

REALLY waggle-ish. Actually, since Ninty has been shitting on me lately, I'll let the dark Ant take over and say the game is repetitive, easy, and dull to look at.

1.5/5 or a pity 2/5 for giving me a Wiimote Plus.

I've never even seen FlingSmash over here but I bet it wouldn't be cheaper than a Wii mote plus anyway.

I want you guys to tell Nintendo everything you're telling me. I want the Gold Wiimote Plus and I want the Ocarina bundle with OoT. Heck, I'd take a short green Link Skirt bundled with a Zelda Anniversary Collection. I'd make Alison wear it.
