Final Fantasy 3

Another boring adventure for me. I tried. I must be a glutton for punishment because I really can't get into most FF games but I keep playing them. The job system I could have used more but other than ninja and thief, I mostly kept them at warrior, white mage, black mage, and monk. Too much grinding! Not an element I like one bit. Tons of it here. More grinding was in this game than any other RPG I've played in the past. I think I ran around in circles killing the same baddies for about 13 hours total. Not my idea of a good time. The music as always was awesome. They always know how to set the mood. Updated 3D graphics were decent, but if you hate grinding like me, the story is not strong enough to save you from Grindville USA.

Though I feel its a bit better than you describe, 3 is definitely before FF hit its stride. The graphics were a nice touch, and the fact that the US never saw the actual 3 released, it was cool to finally have ALL THE FF's 1-12 in legit English.

Prolly give it a 3/5. Not terrible but not outstanding by any stretch.
