| Heard some guys talking about this system the other day so I had to do a little research. Didn't know it existed. What I found was a pretty impressive piece of hardware that sadly only sold 1 million units. Basically it was a portable Genesis that played all existing Genesis games and could also be plugged into a TV so you could also use it as a home console. Two players could play off of the unit thanks to a controller port. Sadly it had a 2 hour battery life of 6 AA batteries, an expensive $80 rechargeable solution, and was released at $180, which was pretty pricey for a portable back then. By the time it was dropped to $80, the world was moving to 3D graphics and 64 bit processors. | |
