| The highest rated DS game this year is not a retail title, but a DSiWare title. I don't think we've ever seen this happen in regards to the Wii and WiiWare games. The lineup of DSiWare games has long been scrutinized for its large pool of forgetful puzzle games and cell phone ports. Finally WayForward has demonstrated that the service can be the home of some real quality. Not only is Shantae: Risky's Revenge the best DS title this year so far, it ranks second only to Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the DS all time. Shantae's score currently sits at 92.5% and I have yet to hear one bad thing about it. The score should hold, if not rise, as more reviews come in. | |

| I don't. In fact, I've never played a Shantae game before. Something I need to change quick. The GBC version would make a great stocking stuffer.  | |
