may I please have it. Wii Codes dont change right? I dont have mine plugged in due to its placvement, and want to make sure that when I turn it on I still have the same friend code.

No DSiWare gifting sadly. Maybe they'll do it for 3DSWare. Then it will be an option.

I don't think gifting 3DS downloads is an option. Which sucks. But I've heard that Nintendo is thinking of sending us demos that will appear on our handhelds, as long as they are connected online. If this is possible, I would hope that in the future Nintendo would give us an update that would allow us to gift 3DS downloads.

As it stands, only WiiWare and Virtual Console games on the Wii are coin transferable.

What an odd omission in both DSiWare an the Eshop... Why make it available on one and not all 3?

Yeah it is upsetting. Afterall, they made the 3DS to stay connected online all the time. I want to be able to send/receive bonus games! How exciting would it be to walk past your 3DS to see the blue light glowing, open it up and find a gift box sitting in your home menu.

I totally did some good. Here's what they said:

"Thank you for writing in. I can definitely see why you would want to be able to send gifts from the Nintendo eShop rather than have to purchase a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card. While we haven't heard of any plans to add this ability to the Nintendo eShop, I will make sure that your comments are forwarded to the appropriate departments here at Nintendo to use as they see fit."

Translation: Nintendo will add it next month. End of story.
