| So... this game is great. The Disney flare is amazing. I really feel like its an ongoing cartoon. Especially since everything you do, matters. I saved the pirate guy and cleared a quest, then accidentally dropped an anvil on the bastard anyway! I have failed a few missions without even knowing, hahaha.
Ah but something that sucks: knowing when the game saves. After you die? Only after a 2d stage? I'm still not too sure, actually. It says checkpoint but once in the manual and never actually touches on how it saves.
Oh fuck: the camera is a piece of dogshit. Seriously. Its appalling. Can't believe they didn't fix it, it really fucks with you and sometimes in mundane messing around circumstances as well as serious platforming.
It looks fantasic and the music is freaking spot on great. All in all its definitely the 8 its been getting and I'm guessing it gets better. Anyone know approximately how many hours of gameplay there are? I'm almost to 10 already, its sickening.

| I've only put in an hour but I've heard this game is lengthy.
Warren Spector recently defended the camera issues by saying it's not just a platformer, but an adventure and rpg game as well, so the camera issues came from trying to manage a game that crosses boundaries. Sounds like an excuse to me but I do love this game.
The ability to paint and thinner stuff at first seemed restricted to certain things but once I started going around noticed that a lot more can be altered, and you must do so if you are going to find all the secrets.
The platforming feels like a great Nintendo 64 game (partly due to the camera issues), and the platform layout feels organic like there is no rhyme or reason to why they placed them where they did. I love that. Music, epic. Perfect level of difficulty.
What I also like is that you can be a good Mickey or bad Mickey. This all starts from the very beginning where you can grab the contents of a chest or save the dude in the cage. Go for the treasure chest and the guy is catapulted into the air. See ya bro!
I ran into that same issue about when it really saves. I went back to the title screen to watch an unlocked film assuming I played long enough for it to save but the film was gone like I never unlocked it. Minor nitpickings, great game.

| There could be something to his claims. A lot of people didn't like the camera angles in the pre-RE4 Resident Evil games, but I liked them. They were designed for dramatic effect, (and they were pre-rendered, of course,) and I think they did a decent job. | |

| Well- I think its far too problematic for it to be just an oops. Maybe the devs were just too good at their own game, lol. | |

| Heh. They didn't need to see where they were going. They programmed it. Silly devs... ever hear of playtesters? | |
