Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

Yes, the 3DS will be the last portable system from Nintendo.

Never, mobile gaming is just a fad and will die off soon.

Probably, unless Nintendo drops their prices.

What is your relationship like with your wife/girlfriend in relation to your gaming hobby? Does she accept/support it or does it get on her nerves?

For me it goes both ways. Sometimes I talk about games too much and my wife the other day told me "Why does everything have to be about video games?" LOL. When I told her I wanted to make a Metroid themed Christmas card this year she said no, she doesn't want video games to be what others think we are all about. Sometimes she'll take a jab at me on Facebook saying something about how much of a nerd I am. Ruffles my feathers some but I'm proud to be a gamer and I just tell her "The gaming industry is now bigger than the music and movie industries so the 'nerds' are the majority, movie and music has become minority."

On the other end she does like having our family game nights every Friday where we get together with our daughter and play. To be fair we take turns choosing what game we will be playing. On the rare occasion she gets really excited about a particular game, most recently Epic Mickey. She'd probably get into gaming more if there were more turn based RPG's on Wii (those are her favorite). She really got a kick out of Opoona and Dokapon Kingdom (both of which I really liked too).

Maybe I just need to tone down my 24/7 gaming talk and try to just channel it all in here with you guys. It's hard though. Gaming is just too fun.

My wife is basically the same in most regards. I think she'd like to do ANY sort of Christmas card, whether it be Nintendo or not. In fact, our first family pic of all 5 of us is gona be Mario themed. I even have onesies from the Nintendo World Store!!!

If it's not too much to ask, it would be awesome if you could post a pic on the forums of your card. I did last year in the ninfest nation media/photos and artwork thread. I want to see those onesies!
