This late in the game, it almost has to. March is breathing down our necks!

There are 2 simultaneous events actually: one in Amsterdam and one in New York. Obviously each event will have details for their own region so I will be tuned into the Amsterdam one. Though I doubt any Australian details are gonna be revealed. I'm more interested in the details of the 3DS like the Shop and StreetPass.

What time does this shit kick off?

March 27. $249.99. How many you getting?

Will Nintendo World Store release it that day, or will they have a party on Saturday and maybe release it at Midnight?

Regardless, I have a gamestop preorder and I preordered from amazon. Amazon will be cheaper (yay no tax) but I wont get it on launch day. Decisions decisions.

How badly do you need to play? I will be waiting in line 2 days from that date, whether at the nintendo store or here in GR.

*sigh* I had a sinking feeling it was going to be $250, though I was 100% certain it wasn't going to be $300. (Or maybe 99.9%.)

I was really holding out a sliver of hope for $200, though. Now we just need to nail down launch titles for certain, because what I've seen so far is not promising for me.

Really? Resident Evil Mercenaries might be fun... though I suck at shooters but I do love RE minus 5. And I was under the impression LoZ OoT 3d was a launch title... I suppose they all say "tba" though.

I think they will have plenty to offer. Not to mention... 3d camera!

Oh I love Resident Evil. Even though I suck at it as well. One time I played Resident Evil 1 and I was kicking zombies butt, but I was like ran out of bullets so I'm the suckiest person ever. (I wonder if anthony was better than me that time)

Maybe, Lu. I made it about 4/5 hours into RE4 before giving up. Less than that for 0, and about 3 hours for the other ones (including Code Veronica).

The Blue is sexy with that black bottom top half...(not as sweet as the purple and orange ones they had when it was revealed.) Dont know if I should go black or blue. Then kick myself 6 months down the line when the purple or orange comes out.

I wasn't sure RE would make it to launch. If so, I'm happy. I beat all the main RE titles on Nintendo systems. Loved 'em. Working on RE5 now. (PC) Seems fun so far. I love the co-op. Maybe not as great as 4, but hard to say at this point.

I know I'll be branded as a heretic for this, but I'm not really excited by OOT 3D. Don't get me wrong- I loved the game. The biggest problem is that I just finished OOT Master Quest last month. I've had enough. I'll just impatiently await my Skyward Sword.

Only Gameboy and gba vc capable? Nintendo always manages to fuck something up. I'm always an early adopter, but my gut is starting to tell me wait for the revision and the sweet orange/black color scheme.

You'll be waiting at least a year for those revisions, if that. I don't think you can wait that long. I'll agree that I'm not the most excited for the remakes in 3D as I am new titles. Kinda goes along the lines of why I won't buy games I already own remade for Wii with motion controls. Still though...Ocarina is the best game ever. It's almost a given that all core gamers should buy it.

What's wrong with only GB and GBA VC? What else is there when it comes to past Ninty portable gaming? It's backward compatible with DS games. Unless you're pissed that there is no Virtual Boy VC but that is for me to be concerned with.

To keep the color wheel rotating I'll be picking up blue since I have a black DSi.

I'm happy with the $250. I was counting on it to hit this price but I feared for the worst. Now I want an official list of launch titles so I can start choosing, along with what 3D movies will be first available.

I'm so excited. This thing is so packed with features. What could I be upset about? Well, I guess the purple 3DS isn't a launch color so it won't match my GameCube...BUT OTHER THAN THAT.....March 27th fellas. I'll see you in line.

Oh yeah. Better get one at launch. I hear that the 4 million available in March is being split between regions. I'm expecting shortages much like the Wii.

I'm waiting for red to come out. Theres no way I'm letting myself buy one in a colour I dont want then a few months later red comes out. Not again. Besides I need to save for it. Even if I sell my DSi (which I most likely will) I still need to save up a bit extra. But we dont even know the release date and price here, it could be $400AUD the way things are going. If that happens I'm waiting for a price drop or importing from the UK.

Why don't you import from the US? Im assuming these are not region locked like the rest of the handhelds...

You assume wrong they are region locked.

The only games I know are confirmed are Nintendogs, (no thanks,) Pilotwings, (meh,) and Steel Diver, (maybe.) I'm pretty sure SF4 will be available, too, but I don't know what to think about that.

Also, who has details on the stuff it comes with?
