Wii Play Motion

Well- another obligatory Wii series title. Nintendo, with the Wii Sports pack-in I was cool with it. When you gave me an extra Wiimote with Play, I was grateful. I was even excited (and used the hell out of) about the balance board that came with my WiiFit... then Wii Fit Plus... Wii Music, while hated on by most gamers, I found to be charming to an extent, and certainly a FANTASTIC learning tool for a young child that is passionate about music. Wii Sports Resort, with its inclusion of 1:1 motion with the WiiMotion Plus attachment , seemed interesting and innovative enough, especially since it was a pack-in.

We won't touch on Wii Party, thank you very much. :\

Now comes the obligatory WiiMote Plus (NOT to be confused with the WiiMotion Plus attachment, mind you!) Wii series release with an actual sequel: Wii Play Motion. I will try to contain my excitement.

First of all- from the start of the game the graphics are terrible. And, before we all groan and say "Its the Wii" let me say this: For Wii, these graphics are nasty. In the first screen of choosing characters, my son's Mii's nose was so... there is no word for what his nose was doing. Half disappearing. It looked terrible.

Then the game starts. It said 12 games to play. Oh... we have to unlock them. This game forces us to try all the shitty games before being able to play the good ones. Sweet.

I was gonna review this but I don't wanna play it anymore. LOL

Obligatory purchase indeed. Gotta own all the Wii brandad titles. I'll pick this up soon when I can. What I want to know is...how is the 1:1? Is it working well here?

Not at all intuitive, I'm afraid. In my limited play time (about 20 minutes) everything just felt awkward. 1.5/5

I'm buying this from the UK because they're the only smart country to sell it with a red Wii remote plus which I have been waiting for way to long.

Played some m ore of this. The games are hit or miss, all in all Ill up my score to 2.8/5

And the 4-player games? Any good? (especially for family.)

Link DOES enjoy the hell out of the game, actually. Most of them are simple enough for him to understand. He especially likes the ghost catching one.

I am just sick of mini games at this point, was hoping for less games, more fleshed out and elaborate. Oh well, Link likes it.
